The Set

HC - The set

If you have been to see our productions over the last few years you will know that we pride ourselves on our sets. We spend weeks designing, building, painting and changing the flats to try and come up with an unique visual experience for our patrons to enjoy. Yeah, well not this time! This time it is over to you. As you can see we spent a lot of time doing nothing. Well, who would have thought that picking out a few chairs would have been so difficult.

The set is a black box, a bare stage with three chairs. Or as Dr Arthur Wicksteed says in his opening speech:"Nothing, oh, nothing. It is all imagination! "JP

Let your imagination run as we follow the lives of the Wicksteed family. There are many scenes set in different areas both in and around the Wicksteed's house in Hove.

A blank set has meant we relied heavily on James Parkinson to give depth to the representation with sound and special lighting effects. Thanks to James, he has excelled.
