Over the past 24 years, Lyndsey (sister to Jason Fenn) has been singing (from 18 months old in her pushchair, as her mother proudly informs her), acting and dancing in many varied forms. As a child, she attended the Margaret Waite School of Ballet, Gillian Quinn School of Dance, Whitley Bay Operatic Society and Stagecoach Performing Arts School (the last one playing the role of 'Chiffon' in Little Shop of Horrors). Her singing experience includes performances at the annual Blyth Festival, being in St Mary's Church Choir, and as part of SingLive North East, where she achieved the solo part of 'Fantine' singing 'I dreamed a dream' from Les Miserables at Newcastle City Hall in front of 2,000 people! Other random experience over the years includes taking part in a Les Miserables Masterclass at the Palace Theatre in London in the role of Eponine, appearing on Songs of Praise and working as an extra on TV shows Byker Grove and 55 Degrees North.

At the tender age of 16, Lyndsey attended Newcastle College, where she stayed for 4 years, gaining her qualifications - National Diploma in Drama and Higher National Diploma in Musical Theatre. Whilst there, she proudly took part in the college productions of Bertolt Brecht's 'The Good Woman of Schezuan', as a Geisha-style prostitute, Jim Cartwright's 'Road', doubling up as the sweet-natured Clare and the foul-mouthed Marion, West Side Story, in her favourite role to date as the feisty Anita, and in Gypsy as cutesy-pie Baby June. In her very limited spare time whilst at college, she also worked with Whitley Bay Pantomime Society as a chorus girl in Robinson Crusoe and as Goldilocks in Goldilocks and the Three Bears.George Knox and Lyndsey Fenn

After college, Lyndsey moved away to Newcastle after getting a full time job as a Podium Dancer in Sam Jacks Bar. During these 3 and a half years away, she worked with Cragrats Theatre Company on 'Theatre In Education' shows, which she and her fellow actors toured around High Schools in Liverpool and Northampton. After this, she went to Sunderland University to complete her studies and achieve her BA (Hons) degree in Drama. Whilst at Uni, she travelled with her fellow students to Lesotho in South Africa to teach and undertake different drama projects with the young orphans, children, high school and uni students and teachers there, which she found very rewarding.

Her productions with Whitley Bay Theatre Company include 'Allo 'Allo! As Yvette (her second favourite role to date!), Bloodlines as chain-smoker Lucy, Are You Being Served? as the sexy Miss Brahms, Rumours as spoilt 'WAG' Claire Cummings, and she is very much looking forward to the upcoming play Habeas Corpus where she gets to play a stuffy, cantankerous old battleaxe in the form of Lady Rumpers!
