"Noises Off!"

Following the hugely successful "Fawlty Towers" Whitley Bay Theatre Company returned back to The Playhouse in November and were thrilled to be performing the hilarious comedy "Noises Off!" by Michael Frayn.
"Noises Off!" is a very funny comedy that will have you rolling in the isles! With a theme that is very close to home - we watch a director of dubious ability and his mismatched troupe of mediocre actors. The cast and crew are touring a silly sex comedy titled, 'Nothing On' - a single-set farce in which lovers frolic, sardines take on a life of their own, clothes are tossed away, enmities fester and embarrassing hi-jinks ensue.
Set in three acts of "Noises Off" lets us eavesdrop at different phases of 'Nothing On' as the show spirals out of control.
What could possibly go wrong with a group of professional actors, highly skilled and trained to cope with any eventuality that could happen? Well you name it - and it could go wrong.
An evening of enjoyment, laughter and the odd plate of disappearing sardines. What more could you possibly want?
