The picture on the left shows The Playhouse as it now stands - open for the world to see. The picture was taken from accross the street and shows the the whole front end of the playhouse has been demolished. Scaffolding will start to appear now as the it is all rebuilt with the new glass frontage and multi layered flooring.
The picture on the right shows the work currently under way inside The Playhouse. Taken around the beginning of May it shows the seats and floor have been removed and groundworks are currently taking place for the new auditorium to begin to take shape..
Foundations are currently being dug at the rear of the building to allow for the additional walls to be built.
